Straight answers

What an AI workshop actually involves

What does an AI workshop cover?

A short plain-English foundations block with live demos, then the rest of the morning hands-on: mapping your own work, setting AI up against it, and building something that runs. The Christchurch Build Your Claude Brain session followed exactly that shape - about half an hour of foundations, then two hours of building. Every date’s page carries its full run of show.

Who are the workshops for?

Owners, founders and professionals who want to actually use AI in their work rather than just chat with it. Sessions are beginner-to-intermediate and no coding is required - if you can use email and a web browser you can do everything in the room. Bring a laptop and two or three real work examples to build against.

How big are the groups?

Small, on purpose. The last Christchurch round was capped at eight seats so a trainer could walk the room and unblock people one by one. Keeping the room that small is also why seats go quickly, which is what the waitlist above is for.

Where do the AI workshops run?

Public workshops run in Christchurch - the last one was held at Powerhouse on Peterborough St. If you are outside Canterbury, the same curricula run as live online sessions, and private workshops are delivered on site anywhere in New Zealand. See all the AI training programmes.

What do I leave with?

Something built, not a folder of notes. From Build Your Claude Brain that means your own Claude set up the right way with the plan, privacy settings and persistent context sorted, your key connectors live, one or two saved Skills, at least one working automation built against your real files, and a prioritised list of what to build next.
