What people ask us

Can Claude create invoices in Xero?

Yes, as drafts. Xero's own MCP server lets Claude create invoices, bills, quotes and credit notes, and saves them as drafts for you to approve. The Xero connector in Claude's directory is read-only, so it answers questions but cannot draft anything.

Is it safe to give AI access to our Xero?

It can be, if access is set tightly. We switch on only the scopes you need, leave out the ones that can record payments or post journals, and keep everything draft-only so a person approves what goes out. Your data stays in your own Claude and Xero accounts.

Can I set it up myself?

Does it work with multiple Xero organisations?
